Banbury Tennis Club/League Team Captain Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the nominee must:

• Be a member in good standing of the club and/or league.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to the club's values.
• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and supported.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills by effectively coordinating team lineups, player availability, and match logistics.
• Consistently communicate promptly with team members regarding match schedules, locations, lineups, and any changes.
• Promptly report match results and ensure league requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide constructive, positive, and encouraging feedback that promotes player development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.
• Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and club staff.
• Encourage fair play, camaraderie, and participation while helping to build a positive team culture throughout the season.
